I was labouring in a factory, and I'd finished work for the day. I parked my car in a beachside street. Painted from a field kit, the picture is watercolour on hot press cotton. Sitting in the driver's seat, listening to sport gossip radio.
Happily, this piece was done before the sunny shadows ran too long.
